
Arthur “Bill” Ehlers passed away in Lake St. Louis, Missouri on February 28, 2025 at the age of 97. Born December 12, 1927 to the late John Henry Ehlers and the late Gertrude (nee Bright) Ehlers.
Bill Ehlers lived and worked most of his life in St. Louis. He served in the United States Navy from 1946-1948. He was an avid fisherman and Cardinals fan. He also loved to travel.
He was preceded in death by his parents John Henry Ehlers and Gertrude (Bright) Ehlers, and one daughter Karen Elaine Tharp.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory two granddaughters, Natalie McKnight (David), and Jen Niccum (Don), a great granddaughter, Anna Simminger, two great grandsons, Liam McKnight and Chase Niccum, and two great great grandsons, Radric Ray and Isaiah Pennington. He also leaves behind very dear friends Teresa Johnson, and Caitlyn Herman.
VISITATION: Thursday, March 20, 2025 at Michel Funeral Home 5930 Southwest Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63139 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. with funeral services beginning at 12:00 p.m.
Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
