Ashley Cooper went home to be with the Lord May 29, 2024. She was born November 11, 1988. The loving daughter of David and Teri (nee Thompson) Cooper and sister of Alex (Lauren) Cooper and Amber Kinney. Loving mother of Chase and Summer Read and granddaughter of Gary and Kathryn Cooper and the late Richard and Virginia Thompson. Loving aunt of Dalton and Koraline Cooper and Brodie Kinney. Dear great aunt to Journey Kinney. Dear niece of Rick (Kim) Thompson, Jeff (Veronica) Thompson, Lisa (Doug) Gollihue and the late John Cooper. Our dear cousin and friend to many.
Ashley graduated from Grandview High School. She loved sports, hunting and fishing and had a quite a number of pets. She was a valiant protector of everyone she loved. She had a contagious smile and laugh. Ashley lived life with her own form of vivaciousness, grit and orneriness. She was very generous and always helped out whenever she could. If you knew her you have a funny “Ashley story” to share.
Ashley loved motorcycles and driving them as fast as she could. She enjoyed taking engines apart and fixing them. She also loved animals and working at the animal shelter and never met a dog she didn’t want to adopt. She will be sadly missed.
A memorial service will be held Friday, June 7, 2024 at Morse Mill Baptist Church 6955 State Rd B, Dittmer, MO 63023 from 4:00 p.m. until service time beginning at 7:00 p.m. with Brother Rich Grayson officiating.
