Autry Lee Strauther was born June 21, 1952 to the union of Nathaniel and Nerlean (Suzzie) Strauther who proceeded him death.  Autry Lee was the second oldest of six children.  Two of whom also proceeded him in death, Beverly Griffin and James Melvin Strauther.

Autry Lee found Christ at a very early age, he belonged t Kennerly Temple C.O.G.I.C. under the Leadership of Pastor Frank Hayden.

Autry Lee went to St. Louis Public Schools and graduated from Sumner High School in 1971, from there he went into the Army at the age of 18 and returned home in the early 1970’s from being honorably discharged.

Autry Lee leaves to cherish his memories; three brothers Ervin Ray Strauther, Nathaniel and Clifton Strauther; one brother-in-law Hew L. Griffin (Beverly),; two sisters Patricia and Phillis Strauther; two great uncles Herbert (Rose) Mcferren of St. Louis, MO and John Holmes, Sr. of Chicago, IL; three aunts Marea Strauther, Joyce Garner and Vannessa Strauther of St. Louis, MO; five nieces Tonzell (Kenny) Moore, Shanna Strauther, Tawanna (William) Howard, Linda Strauther, and Diana Griffin; three nephews Turon Griffin, Willie Hurst, and Toney (Alisa) Griffin and a host of cousins.

FUNERAL:  Friday, December 2, 2022 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at 12:30 p.m.  If you are not meeting at Michel Funeral Home (5930 Southwest Avenue, St. Louis, MO) at 11:30 a.m. to proceed in procession to Jefferson Barracks, please meet us behind the administrative building at Jefferson Barracks located at the main gates of the cemetery.
