Beloved husband of Gloria (nee Fontana) Gambaro, son of the late Stefano and Anna Gambaro; beloved father to Stephen (Ginger) Gambaro, Sandra (David) Shelley, Mimi (Joe) Lordo, Derio (Linda) Gambaro, Chris (Diane) Gambaro, and Jeff (Sharon) Gambaro.
Loving grandfather to BJ (Beth), Alec (Molly), Emily (Chris), Joseph, Stephen, Andrew, Anna (Derrick), Catherine (Pat), Margaret, Derio (Katie), Elizabeth (Mark), Christina (Olivia), Colin (Jenny), Emma, and Ella.
Dear great grandfather of Stefano, Lenna, Julieta, Charlie, Colleen, Reese, Benjamin, Chris, Maryann, Charlie, Gloria, Madeline, Lino, Leonardo, Landon, and Leighton.
Dear brother-in law of Dottie Gambaro, Rose Kelso.
Loving uncle to Annamarie, Joann, Frank and Carol, Eugene, Greg, John and Theresa, Kevin and Mickey, Cindy, Chris, Dan and Penny, David and Kay, Doug and Pam, and Denise. Great uncle to many.
Benjamin is preceded in death by his brothers Pasquale “Lino” Gambaro, Frank (Helen) Gambaro, Steve (Shirley) Gambaro & John Gambaro and one sister Joann Arpiani; brothers-in-law Derio Arpiani, Dan Kelso, and Nazarene (Dottie) Fontana; nephew Kirby and niece Kim.
Ben was devoted to family and friends, and to his beloved Missouri Bakery. He will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Ambrose Church, St. Ambrose Forever, or The Sick and Elderly Program of the Hill. All c/o St. Ambrose Church. Services will be private with a celebration of life after the COVID crisis..………..
