Woods, Betty Ann (nee Flaherty), passed away peacefully on February 10, 2022 at the age of 80 years old.
Betty was born in St. Louis, MO on April 28, 1941. She graduated from Southwest High School in St. Louis and began her career in customer service and machine operation at companies including Venture, Dynaquip Controls, Mullen Machine and Saint Clair IGA.
After retirement her joy was spending time with her grandchildren, eating out and a bit of fun at the casinos.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Vivian Flaherty. Loving and devoted mom to Kim Dyonzak (nee Briggenhorst), Kay (Gary) Limpert (nee Briggenhorst), Shaun (Amber) Woods, and the late Rick (survived by Sue) Briggenhorst.
Betty loved being a grandma to seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Loving aunt, cousin and friend to many over the years.
She is preceded in death by her former husbands, Ken Briggenhorst and Ralph Woods. Beloved sister of the late Bill Flaherty and Kathleen (Mark) Brannan (nee Flaherty).
Betty always enjoyed life and being around her family. May she now rest in peace with her family in heaven. Betty, we will love you and miss you forever!
A memorial celebration will be held on Wednesday, February 23rd 2022 at Michel Funeral Home 5930 Southwest Ave. St. Louis, MO 63139 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. followed by burial at Sunset Memorial Park 10180 Gravois Rd. St. Louis, MO 63123.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an animal rescue shelter of your choice.
