Chad William Beffa was born on December 28th , 1972, in St. Louis, MO and passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 14th , 2024, at the age of 51. He was the dear son of Gail Holst (Gary) and Christopher Beffa (Barbera).
For the past 4 years, Chad lived with his loving partner, Lonna Hamil, who he was planning to marry in 2025. During his previous marriage of 20 years to Jennifer Beffa, they were blessed with four children: Brian Andrew Beffa, Ruth Irene Beffa, Sylvia Rachel Beffa, and Matthew Thomas Beffa, who all live on to continue his legacy. Chad had four siblings: Nicki (Thomas) Krsul, Tina Beffa, Paul Holst, and Serena Beffa as well
as two nieces and a nephew: Lilly, Mason, and Kelly Krsul who will all miss him dearly. He will also be missed by his cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends, all of whom loved him very much. Chad has gone on to be with his beloved grandparents and great grandparents who certainly embraced him with open arms.
A jack of all trades, Chad was ready to take on any task if it meant that he could help just one person. He started businesses, took on odd jobs, and supported various organizations so that his kids, his friends, and his loved ones would always have what they needed. He had a very big heart and was full of bright ideas, all of which culminated in his neighborhood preschool; a business that would support not only his family, but his community. Built within the walls of a building he has called a home his entire life, the preschool was a way for him to give back to his neighborhood and the people who call it home.
Chad was a loving father and a cherished friend. He will not only live on in our hearts and minds but for an eternity in heaven.
A service celebrating his life will be held at Michel Funeral Home, 5930 Southwest Ave, St. Louis, MO 63139 on Sunday, December 29th from 2:00-4:00pm, service at 3:30pm. All who loved him are welcome.
