Fortified in the Sacraments of the Holy Mother Church, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2025, at the age of 79. She was born to the late Charlotte and Albert Talir in St. Louis, Missouri on July 5, 1945. Adoring mother of Scott (Shannon) Creighton, the late James (Tracey) Creighton, and Mary Catherine (the late Christopher Lynch) Creighton; cherished grandmother of Thomas, William, Carly and Keily; dear sister of the late Lois (late John) Berger and her twin brother, Robert (Nancy) Talir; aunt, godmother, cousin and friend to many.
She was an accomplished artist, avid reader, loved playing piano and tending to her flower gardens. She was a devout and faithful Catholic, loyal member to her parish, and generous contributor to numerous charities.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 7144 Forsyth Boulevard, St. Louis, Missouri 63105, followed immediately by a funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. and interment at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of St. Louis, 4445 Lindell Boulevard, St. Louis, Missouri 63108.

A genuine and kind woman who connected with everyone she met. She even managed to connect with a Cubs fan from Chicago who befriended Scott and Shannon. As a result, this Cubs fan gained his Missouri Mom. You’ll be missed everyday, sometimes in ways we won’t see coming, but not to worry, you raised them right. After a few tears and many more laughs and smiles, we’ll carry on with you in our hearts.
