Donna Lee Ash (nee Coleman), entered eternal rest with unwavering faith on October 26, 2021. Beloved daughter of the late Alfred and Lorraine Coleman; devoted mother of Erin and Nathan (Alyssa Roller) Ash; loving wife of the late Milford Ash; devoted sister of Robert (Jan) Coleman, Gerald Coleman, and the late Marsha (Loyd) Hohertz; “Princess” to Emma and David Roller, and loving aunt, cousin, and friend to many.

Donna will be greatly missed for her generous spirit, wit, and love for her family — and of course her love for her Cardinals and Blues. She will be remembered for her many years devoted to serving as deacon and Sunday School teacher at St. Andrew Presbyterian, leading Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops, and her many professional roles, from executive secretary to preschool director to the St. Louis City Board of Election. Those who knew and loved Donna will look back with joy on memories of camping and traveling, listening to classic rock and attending concerts, her year living in Switzerland, and time spent around the table enjoying her many delicious recipes.

Memorial service and celebration of life will take place on Donna’s 70th birthday, Saturday, December 11, at 1pm at Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, 5200 Lucas and Hunt Rd, Jennings, MO 63121. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations in Donna’s memory be made to Mathews-Dickey Boys’ & Girls’ Club, 4245 N Kingshighway Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63115, or Ronald McDonald House St. Louis, 3450 Park Ave, St. Louis, MO, 63104.
