Dear Sweet Oma, you were always a loving and giving person to our family, certainly from the day Dawn married Jim we have been welcomed into your home and heart. After our own parents passed you truly took my sisters and I under your wing and let us know that if we were ever in need of motherly comfort, advice or just a hug, you would be there for all of us. You have gone above and beyond for us! You helped our folks when Daddy was nearing the end of his earthly stay by letting them stay in your home and make it their own for as long as they needed! You have generously made the most wonderful gifts (afghans, hats, slippers, etc) for every member of my family which we will treasure forever. You were a wealth of advice when I needed it, and always, always an overflowing fountain of unconditional unconditional love for each of us…never too busy to dole out hugs. You were the ultimate phenomenal woman and you will be greatly missed. I hope that with time I can become a fraction of the person you were so I might someday meet up with you again beyond the Pearly Gates!
