Evelyn was predeceased by her husband Richard L. Dietzel, sister Ruby McDaniel, brother Ronnie Miller and her parents Melvin and Aileen Miller.
Evelyn lived a full and happy life with many interests and friends. She endlessly gave of herself to help others. But, above all else, she dedicated herself to being the best wife and mother she could be. She was married to Richard L. Dietzel for 63 years and they were never apart for even one day.
Evelyn was a joy to be with. She had a caring heart and loving spirit and always an optimistic outlook, even when she approached her final days. Even as weak as she was, she said I’m ok.
Many of friends who had lost their parents, adopted Evelyn. She made friends wherever she went. So many people gravitated to her outgoing personality.
A graveside service was held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery for family and close friends.
