Hazel Marie (nee Lee) Emich passed away peacefully surrounded by her family October 4, 2024. Born June 16, 1943 to the late Ruble Lee and the late Mable (nee Bright) Lee.
Devoted mother of Dennis (Donna) Hayden. Loving step-mother to Gary and Larry Emich. Beloved grandmother of Angie (Curt Jr.) Hayden Chaplin, Jess (Christine) Boeger, David Hayden, and Nicole Hayden. Dear great-grandmother of Joel Chaplin and Grayson Boeger. Dear sister of Dorothy Dowdy, Marvin Lee, Mildred Seay, and Francis Nichelson.
Hazel is preceded in death by her husband Edgar Emich.
VISITATION: Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at Michel Funeral Home 5930 Southwest Avenue, St. Louis, Mo 63139 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. with funeral services beginning at 12:00 p.m.
Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.

Dennis, I was saddened to hear of the passing of your mother. My deepest sympathies to you & Donna, and heartfelt condolences to Gary and Larry Emrich, all the grandchildren and great grandchildren. Losing a mother or grandmother is an unimaginable pain, but when we do I believe they continue to live within us providing guidance and strength. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
