Herman Preston Heinrichs, born January 5, 1945 passed peacefully at home on January 29, 2023 with his son at his side. Herman was born in St. Louis, where he met the love of his life Jacqueline Marie Schmidt. They were married on September 24, 1966 and had their only son Steven Michael on August 9, 1967. They enjoyed 54 years of marriage, until Jackie’s death in 2020.
Herman worked for Bi-State for 16 years and ended his career with the City of St. Louis as a heavy equipment mechanic. He loved everything that had to do with hot rods and racing and spending time with his family.
Herman was preceded in death by his parents, Noah & Mary Bone, his brothers Clyde, Carl and David, his wife Jacqueline and his great grandson Killian.
His memory lives on through his brother Patrick, his son Steven (Carrie), his grandchildren Joshua (Candace), Courtney, Stephanie (Jay Bird) and his great grandchildren Peyton, Aubrey, Milly, Addisyn and Lincoln.
