John E. Bardenheier Jr., 80, passed away on Saturday April  22nd, 2023.

John was born March 6th 1943 in St Louis Mo into a proud family of German descent who founded the John Bardenheier Wine and Liquor Company. Later named The Bardenheier Wine Cellars.  John was a Marine during the Gulf crisis.  He worked in the wine business most of his life. John found most of his joy spending time with family and friends. His favorite things in life were trips to Carolina Beach, having a meal and drinks with anyone that would let him bend their ear, and listening to folk and old country music.

John was a storyteller and he had many to tell.  His sense of humor left anyone lucky enough to hear his stories laughing and wanting more time with him.  He had a way that just drew people in to him.   John was quick-witted, full of jokes and smiles to share.   He cared deeply for the people around him.  He loved his family and friends with a passion and he gave all he would have to those in need and was always there for them

John was the son of the late John and Rose Bardenheier, father of the late Kimberly Evans (survived by Wayne Evans)

John is survived by his other children John (Cheryl) III, Clay (Jenny) , Richard (Samantha), and Andrea Hall.

Beloved grandfather to Nichole (Kevin) Derleth , Amanda (Tim) Saville, Brandon (Kelsey) Bardenheier, Ashly Evans, Nicholas Bardenheier , Jillian (Caleb) Braun, Gage Bardenheier, Logan Bardenheier, Melissa Bardenheier, Julia Bardenheier.

Great Grandfather to John Evans, Lillian Evans, Deacon Bardenheier, Emmitt Bardenheier, Paisley Bardenheier, Andre Toth, The triplets Tanner, Henry and Eloise Derleth, Lexi Bardenheier.

John loved so many more people that came into his life and were there for him.  He was loved by so many and will be missed enormously by all of us. His memory will forever be cherished by his family and friends
