John (Jack) G.Tevlin passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 24th, at the age of 77. He was the beloved son of the late John G. and Dorothy Tevlin (nee Malloy), and devoted husband of Mary Catherine Tevlin (nee McGregor).
Jack was a loving father to Daniel ( Kelly), John, and Michael. He was a cherished brother, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend. Jack is survived by brother Michael, Thomas, and James, and sister Mary.
Jack was a graduate of McBride High School, and University of Missouri-St. Louis. He taught at Normandy High School for 37 years. He also coached football at Normandy for 32 years.
Jack was an avid reader, movie buff, and fan of the Blues and Cardinals. He was extremely proud of his Irish Heritage, and participated in the St. Patrick’s Day Hibernian Parade for 45 years.
His memory will continue to live in the hearts and minds of those who knew and loved him.
He will be deeply missed.
