Judith Ann “Judi” Weidinger (née Crocker), aged 79, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2026, in St. Louis, Missouri. Born on February 25, 1947, in St. Louis,
Judi lived a life filled with love, laughter, and an unyielding passion for the people and things she cherished most. Judi was a woman who never met a stranger. Her ability to find common ground with everyone she encountered and her gift for conversation made her a joy to be around. Her family was the center of her world, and she found immense pride and happiness in her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her son Jeff Weidinger; daughter-in-law Kara Weidinger; grandson Kaleb Weidinger; granddaughter Alexis Wolfe and her husband Devvon Wolfe; and great-grandchildren Russel, Conner, and Katherine. Judi was predeceased by her beloved daughter Christina Weidinger but leaves behind cherished memories through Christina’s children, Marc Williams and Sara Williams.
Judi’s passions extended far beyond her family. A voracious reader, she devoured books at a pace that could rival any library’s circulation. Her love for musicals was equally profound—she rarely missed performances at The Muny in St. Louis, braving the unpredictable Missouri summers year after year to enjoy the shows she adored. Animals also held a special place in Judi’s heart; her deep affection for pets and all creatures great and small was evident to anyone who knew her. Those who had the privilege of knowing Judi will remember her as a wonderfully quirky and intelligent woman whose warmth and kindness left an indelible mark on their lives. Her legacy of love, humor, and compassion will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to share in her journey. May Judi’s memory bring comfort to those who loved her deeply and serve as a reminder of the joy she brought into the world.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on August 21, 2026, from 06:00 PM to 08:00 PM at Michel Funeral Home 5930 Southwest Ave. Family at 5:30 p.m.
