Judith Elaine (Judi) Fleming passed away July 5, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. Born September 10, 1941 to the late Ralph Willis and the late Dorothy (nee Gee) Willis.
Beloved mother of Angel (David) Camden. Loving grandmother of Marissa (Josh) Hackerson, Sarina “Rosie” Camden, and Nicholas Camden. Dear great grandmother of Nora and Isak Hackerson. Dear aunt to her nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Joe Fleming and one brother Don Willis.
Judi was born in Detroit, Michigan while her father was stationed there in the Merchant Marines during the war. The family returned to their hometown of Coal Grove, Ohio when Judi was still a baby. She was a 1959 graduate of Dawson Bryant high school where she played drums in the marching band beginning in 6th grade.
A self-proclaimed workaholic, Judi worked for Armco Steel for 36 years. Later she moved to St. Louis to be close to her grandchildren and started working for Office Depot where she was employed for 20+ years.
She and Joe were avid sports fans and traveled extensively with Cardinal Travel to watch the Saint Louis Cardinals. Through the years, they made it to almost all of the baseball stadiums in the U.S. and Canada. She enjoyed going to Saint Louis Blues games with her daughter as well as college basketball and football games.
Her favorite thing to do was to spend time with her grandkids and great grandkids.
She attended their dance competitions, gymnastic competitions, baseball, basketball and soccer games where she was their biggest fan. She loved taking her grandkids on trips and to shows and loved spending time with them.
Judi donated her body to scientific research. A memorial mass will be held in her honor on August 15th .
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in her honor to Saint Simon Backpack Buddies, an organization that provides meals to local underprivileged children.
VISITATION: Saturday, August 15, 2026 at St. Simon the Apostle Catholic Church 11011 Mueller Rd., St. Louis, MO 63123 from 10:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
with mass beginning at 11:00 a.m. Luncheon immediately follows.
