Judy Lee Decker (Hanff) peacefully passed into the arms of her Savior on November 28, 2025. She joined her parents, Arthur Hanff and Eleanor Frank along with her sister, Arlene DeBlasi and niece, Jennifer DeBlasi, her son-in-law, Walter Scholl, and her husband of 53 years, William J. Decker, Jr. in heaven.
She leaves a hole in the hearts of those she left behind.
Her children, Julie Scholl and William Decker, III, grandchildren, Jim Thebeau, Jr., William J. Decker IV, Zachary Decker, Adam Scholl, Alex Scholl and Wesley Decker along with her great-grandchildren Haylie and Abbie Headrick, Drake Thebeau, X’Zayvier and Harmony Decker will carry her wonderful stories and countless memories in their hearts forever. She had a very special bond with her brother and sister-in-law, Arthur J. and Nancy Hanff. Judy and her sister-in-law were our own Lucy & Ethel. She held a special place in her heart for her nieces, Mary Ellen, Andrea and Emily and nephews, Christopher and Vince and their spouses and children. She was a second mother to Richard & Bobbi Scholl and welcomed them to her family with open arms.
Judy loved cooking, organizing, traveling, music and spending time with her family and friends.
She was born in New Jersey but grew up in Jennings and moved to south St. Louis her senior year of high school.  She married in 1968 and remained in St. Louis until she moved to Piedmont, MO in 1993. She loved to welcome friends and family to “the farm” for weekends of food and fun. In 2015, she moved to Florissant, MO with her daughter. Judy was a loyal friend and had many life-long relationships with friends who became family. Everyone that had the privilege to know her, loved her.
“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?” –
