Laura Mary Caputa passed away peacefully November 15, 2025. Born March 29, 1948 to the late Carmelo Caputa and the late Charlotte (nee Wooldridge) Caputa.
Devoted wife of Brad Klaus. Loving stepmother of Jennie (Joshua) Bishop and Rachel (Ronnie), Rice. Beloved godmother of Joshua (Stephanie) Caputa. Dear grandmother of Zachary and Aubrey Rice. Dear sister of Dave (Gloria), Tony (Sheila), Karen Caputa (Steve Bock), and Jeff (Terri) Caputa. Loving aunt, great aunt, cousin and friend to many.
Laura loved each of her dogs and Ethel Mae will miss her mom very much. She is preceded in death by her loyal companions Bella, Milo, and Little Ethel. She worked in accounting for construction for many years. Laura loved to play pool and attended social gatherings. She enjoyed most of all being with her family.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Stray Rescue of St. Louis or the Humane Society of Missouri.
