Mark Kevin Adelman, age 65, peacefully passed away on Oct. 15th after a brief illness. He was in his South County home surrounded by his wife and children; and by the loving Presence of God and His angels; welcomed into the outstretched arms of Jesus.

Born 11/06/1955, in St. Louis, MO, Mark was the son of Kenneth and Verneila (Cohea) Adelman. He attended Hazelwood Central High School and graduated with honors from SIUE, in 1981, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. Mark was an ambitious worker. He had a knack for problem-solving and retained bits of resourceful information that would astound any circle of influence. He found his passion and life’s work in his family-owned business at Edmond’s Chile Company. He was highly respected and known for his savvy and instincts. Mark will be remembered for his brilliant mind, his boundless generosity and his unconditional love for those he cared about. Everyone who knew Mark knows that he was a hard-working family man who enjoyed the little things in life, and the simplicity of spending time in the company of friends and family.

He is survived by his wife, Michele (Colombo); his children: Brenna; McKenzie and Jon Dapron and their children: Mira and Nolan; Mason and Jenny Adelman and their child, Wilson; Christina and Ricky Beebe and their children: Leo and Magnolia; Alexandra and Elvir Begic; Erica; Ethan; and his pet, Bella. Mark also leaves his sisters: Melody and Gina Chilese; Victoria and Lorrainne Bilodeau; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brother, Britt (09/23/21). They will be sorely missed.
