Mary Elizabeth Sheridan passed into eternal life in the early morning of January 31st, 2025. She was the daughter of Luther and Pauline (Holbrook) Sheridan. She was born in Elizabethtown, IL on October 26, 1942.

She is survived by her first cousin Dennis Holbrook (Susan) a second cousin Heather Holbrook (sons Jaron and Graden Knez), her loving and loyal cat, Tabitha and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father Luther Sheridan, her mother Pauline Sheridan and her significant other, Norman “Tucker” Stark in 2007.

Mary graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Washington University in 1968. She served on the boards of the St. Louis Housing Authority, the St. Louis Board of Equalization, and in multiple positions of the Soulard Restoration Group over the years following her retirement from Ralston Purina. Mary had a passion for gardening and in her younger years you could find her in her own yard or in one of the neighborhood gardens. Mary loved to travel and was fortunate enough to visit many countries during her employment years with Purina. Mary was also known for her sense of a good restoration project. She had a vision to be able to take the most run down building and hire the right people to bring her vision to life, producing a beautiful home. Mary was so kind and caring, never wanting to inconvenience anyone or ask for help, even when she may have needed it the most.
