
Pamela Salata (née Roy), 68, of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2026, at home surrounded by family.
Pamela was born in St. Louis, Missouri on February 9, 1957 to Carl and Lorraine Roy (née Perry). A graduate of Southwest High School (Class of 1975), she retired from working for the City of St. Louis after 30+ years.
She is survived by her husband, Michael, her two sons, Andrew and Dylan (Emily), her two grandchildren, Alexia and Harper, as well as her sister, Patricia Lekich (David), her brother, Carl Roy (Melissa), and numerous beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins. Pam enjoyed cooking, Cardinals baseball, and spending time with her family (especially her grandchildren).
She loved telling a good story and stayed close with many cousins, friends, classmates, and coworkers. In lieu of flowers, her family requests donations to the American Cancer Society and the National MS Society in her honor. She will be missed immensely. May her memory be a blessing.
VISITATION: Monday, January 12th at Michel Funeral Home 5930 Southwest Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63139 from 4 – 8 p.m.
SERVICES: Tuesday, January 13th at Michel Funeral Home at 9:00 a.m.
Interment: Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
