Randal Ignatius Johnson Sr. of Saint Louis, Missouri, unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at the age of 56.

Randal was born to Ramona Johnson (Perry) and Ronald Johnson on September 5, 1965. As a child Randal attended the Bayless School District in Affton, Mo. He was united in marriage with Lisa Johnson (Statler) and they were blessed with three children.

He was a loving husband, son, father, grandfather, uncle and brother.

Randal had always been rough around the edges, but he had a huge heart of gold. He did have his vices, but he enjoyed his life to the fullest. He was always there when you needed him.

Randal’s hobbies included shooting pool with his friends, throwing darts, camping and fishing with his only son. He worked as a self-employed roofer for over 30 years. He loved what he did for a living and he loved it even more when his son was with him on the roof.

 Randal is preceded in death by his grandmother Beatrice Perry, his grandfather Frank Perry and his father, Ronald Johnson.

Randal leaves to cherish his loving memory his wife, Lisa Johnson; his children, Sarah L. Johnson, Randal I Johnson Jr. and Marissa R. Johnson; his mother, Ramona Perry; his siblings, Ronny Johnson, Tracy Johnson-Mayer (Michael) and Michelle Johnson; his grandchildren, Randal I. Johnson III, Zane Catanzaro, Trevor Johnson, Kristian Baught, Cohen Treece, Kasen Marty, Kellen Treece and soon to be Kolton Johnson.

He will be greatly missed.

A celebration of life will be held on January 7, 2022 at Michel Funeral home 5930 Southwest Avenue in Saint Louis, MO 63139 from 6-8pm.
