Robert Louis “Bob” Weber, 80, of St. Louis, MO, passed away on May 19th, 2025, surrounded by loving family. Bob was born May 12th, 1945 in St. Louis, MO, the son of George and Helen (née Hall)
Weber.
Bob graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1962. He joined the Air National Guard in 1966, and served until honorably discharged in 1971.
Bob worked within Asset Protection at Southwestern Bell/AT&T until his retirement in 2000. In 2007 he returned to work as a contract supervisor with Whelan Security until his final retirement in 2010.
Bob was a member of Saint Andrew Presbyterian since 2020, serving his community through maintaining and running their sound system. He was also a 50 year member of the Freemasons, Scottish Rite, Shriners, and Eastern Star, holding his membership at Meridian Lodge, St. Louis Valley, Moolah Shrine, and Ballwin Chapter, respectively. He also served as Chapter Chairman for the St. Louis chapter of ASIS (a global community of security practitioners) and was a 30 year member with them, going above and beyond to contribute to the international organization.
For his achievements, he received the Criscuoli Award, honoring outstanding service in volunteer leadership. Bob was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, police procedurals, and cats, with special affection for his two tabbies, Gordon and Molly.
Bob is preceded in death by his mother and father, Helen and George; and his
brother, Charlie.
Bob is survived by his wife, Janice and their 4 children, Kelly, Nick, Ryan, and Randy; his 2 children, Eric and Julie, from his first wife Judith; his 3 grandchildren, Alysa, Kate, and Chris; his brothers, Rich (Jan) and Don (Marilyn); as well as many nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, June 22nd, 2025 at Kirkwood Masonic Lodge from 1:00-4:00 P.M with a Masonic Service at 3:00 P.M.
Memorial donations in Bob’s memory may be directed to Shriners Children’s St. Louis.
