Ronald L. “Ron” Metcalf passed away peacefully at home January 2, 2025.
Born January 6, 1947 to the late Frank Metcalf and the late Sarah (nee Thurman) Metcalf.
Devoted husband of Mary (nee Murphy) Metcalf. Beloved father of Rick (Tina), Dawn, Melissa (Joe), Paul, Sheila (Gary), Sue (David), Scott, and Keith (Jenn).
Dear grandfather.
He is preceded in death by his siblings Harry, Jerry, and Bill.
Ron was born and raised in Dogtown and loved the community. He was active with the Dogtown Veteran’s Memorial.
VISITATION: Sunday, January 12, 2025 at Michel Funeral Home 5930 Southwest Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63139 from 4-8 p.m.
SERVICES: 12:00 P.M. Monday, January 13, 2025 at Michel Funeral Home.
Interment St. Paul’s Churchyard.
