Rudolf “Rudi” Puhalla
Rudi was Hungarian born in Slovakia. He moved to the United States in 1991. Rudi was a very talented self taught artist. He enjoyed working and experimenting in many art mediums from oil paintings, clay/wood sculptures, charcoal/ink drawings, saddle making, leather designs and so much more.
Rudi enjoyed cooking, hunting, playing guitar, fishing, watching new and old westerns, hanging out with family and friends but most of all telling long very detailed stories.
After 30 years in the United States Rudi was looking forward to returning home to Slovakia to be reunited with his two beautiful daughters, Maria and Kristina, and meeting his grandchildren. Unfortunately due to his untimely death this dream never came to be.
Rudolf is preceded in death by his parents, Edmund and Margaret Puhalla, and his brother Zoli Puhalla. He is survived by his loving daughters, Maria(Vlastimil) Pobjecky and Kristina(Marian Sabo) Saboova. Beloved grandchildren, Nicolas and Nathaniel Pobjecky, Emily and Leonie Saboova. Dear brother Thomas Puhalla, nephews, nieces, cousins and so many friends and loved ones.
