Sandra “Sandy” Ellen Holt, 66, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2023. She was born on June 9, 1956, to Clyde and Norine Holt, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her beloved siblings, Charles and Renea Holt, George and Debra Holt, and Elizabeth and Roger Spaugh, as well as her many nieces and nephews, for whom she lived to spoil. She was Aunt to Stephen and Tammy, Holly and Tom, Tracey, Amy and Travis, Dana and Justin, Andrew, Leslie, Luke, and Emily; Great Aunt to Grace, Mercie, Hope, Devon, Ashia, Lynkon, Trey, Taryn, Jackson, Jacob, Joshua, and Jack; and an honorary Aunt to many.
Sandy spent most of her life working in hospitality and travel. She delighted in going above and beyond for others. She loved serving God and Apostolic Pentecostal Church, where she was a faithful member. She spent many hours volunteering as a Bible quizzing coach, leading Children’s Prayer Force, and serving in the kitchen.
Sandy will be missed by all who knew her, and her legacy will live on through the countless lives she touched with her humor, hospitality, and generosity.
The visitation will be held at Apostolic Pentecostal Church on March 10, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The service will take place at noon with interment to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Apostolic Pentecostal Church Bible Quizzing Program.
