Sherrie Irene Foster

Sherrie Irene (Erhart) Foster passed away peacefully with her family by her side February 15 , 2023. Born on October 26 , 1960 to the late Orville Erhart and the late Ruby (Parker) Merritt .

Sherrie was a kind , generous, precious soul , who dedicated herself and life to her children. The love she had for them could move mountains.

Sherrie enjoyed spending her time with family , friends, laughing, dancing, making jokes and being everyone’s cool second mom. She was always the life of the party and she always had a smile on her face. God was her lord and savior everyday she praised the lord and prayed for everyone around her. She spent many years with the father of her kids , Steve Foster and recently many years with her husband Ephraim Hayes. Sherrie was surrounded with love and friendship everyday from her dear friend Tina Wampler who cared and never left her side.

Sherrie is a loving mother to John Taylor ,  Joey Erhart Payne, Thomas (Felicia) Erhart, Amber (Timothy) Cochran , Angela Erhart, Andrea (Daniel) Erhart. Help raise and love Johnathan Somers like her own.

Dear grandmother of Triston Cochran, Trevor Chochran, Chloe Cochran , Tyler Cochran , Anya’Noel Erhart , Layla Winston , Lita Wampler , Deangelo B ailey , Phoenix Erhart ,  Angel Jones , Dylan Taylor , Joseph Hudson Jr. Lillian Hudson and Bentleigh Burton. Great Grandmother to Myloh and Mila Taylor.

Loving sister of Ruth Eubanks , Kathy Landis, Linda Hunter , Orville Erhart (Bo) , Debbie Laux , Keith Erhart , Gary Erhart, Kevan Skaggs and her twin brother Terry Erhart.

She is preceded in death by her parents , son Joey (Erhart) Payne , sister Donna Founie , brothers Gary Erhart,  Kevan Skaggs and her grandchild Tyler Cochran.

VISITATION:  Thursday, March 2, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Michel Funeral Home 5930 Southwest Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63139.

Interment:  Sunset Memorial Park 10180 Gravois Rd., Affton, MO 63123.
