Suzette Marie Eveland passed away peacefully with her family and the love of her life, Jim Simpson on April 6, 2025. She was born on May 12, 1962 to her wonderful father Robert Eveland and phenomenal mother Janet (nee Bollinger) Eveland.
She was the beloved sister of Colleen (Randy) Jung, Bobby Eveland, and Cheryl (Jeff) Reale. Loving aunt to Paige (Frank) Odom, Brandy (Chris) Untnecker, Nick (Brittany) Jung, Jeffrey (Josie) Reale, Anthony (Kristen) Reale, and Courtney (Tony Moreno) Reale. She was the oldest of four children and was an amazing big sister. As well as a second mom to her nieces and nephews who she loved like they were her own.
Many of you know Suzette as a hairdresser which she enjoyed for over 35 years at the Custom Hair Design. Her clients thought of her as a friend more than just their hairdresser. Her love, kindness and warmth were her calling card. She would be there to help anyone in need with question and was a person everyone could count on whether you were family or not. She was a special daughter, sister and friend to all and will be greatly missed by many.
Suzette is preceded in death by her amazing mother Janet Eveland and caring sister-in-law Lisa Eveland who she loved dearly.
MEMORIAL SERVICES: Saturday, April 26, 2025 at The Old Cathedral 209 Walnut Street, St. Louis, MO 63102 from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. with mass beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Interment: Resurrection Cemetery.

We just found out about Suzette. She was a wonderful person who we were customers of for many years. She was always a ray of sunshine for us. Godspeed to Jim and her family.
