Val J Collins passed away peacefully September 2, 2025. Born June 24, 1961 in Chicago, IL to Pansy (Pat) Malin and the late Arley Collins.
Dearest father of Shannon Collins, Nicole Collins, Val Collins Jr and Corey Collins, dear grandfather to Mackenzie , Charles, Nathaniel, Jayden, Owen, Abigail, Madison, Brayden, Nicholas, and Samanatha.
He was a brother to Arlana Nugent, Roberta Grant and the late Una Collins. He was a brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle, cousin, and friend to everyone he met.
As a local businessman his family owned and operated tree service contributed to the success of the community. He was always willing to help when needed and will be missed by anyone that knew him.
