William Paul Pickering passed away February 20, 2023 at his home. Born January 25, 1938 to the late Reyney Pickering and the late Ivy (nee Wood) Pickering.
Beloved father of William “Stacy” (Patty) Pickering, Terri Pickering, and Karen A. Lloyd. Dear grandfather of William A. Benfield, Jessica Benfield, Daniel Benfield, Brittany (Kevin) Werntz, and Erica (James) Roedel. Great grandfather of 8.
He is preceded in death by his wife Myrtle Pickering, his brother Jessie Pickering, his sister-in-law Rosetta Pickering, and his half-sister Marie Roubidoux.
William worked for Anheuser Busch for 37 years. He enjoyed watching wrestling, bowling and camping.
VISITATION: Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Michel Funeral Home 5930 Southwest Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63139 from 4-8 p.m.
SERVICES: Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at Michel Funeral Home at 12:00 p.m.
Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery with full military honors.
