Carole Sue Selby

Carole Sue Selby of Arnold, MO crossed over on Friday, October 6, 2023, at the age of 73 years, surrounded by her family.

She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Michael Selby; her children Jennifer (Steve Davis, Jr.) Selby, and Melissa (Jon) Gebel; grandchildren, Brandon Davis and Avery Gebel; bonus grandchildren Steven and Lily Davis; sister Debbie Schmidt (Stewart); sisters-in-law, Patricia (Tom) Hewitt, Maureen (Donald) Curtis, and Julie Ebrecht; many wonderful nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Carole was born December 28, 1949, in Maplewood, Missouri to Albert and Bertha Stewart. She attended Maplewood High School and began her career as an administrative assistant in 1978 for Chemtech, followed by UHY Advisors before retiring in 2018. Carole loved soaking in the sun, taking photos of her family and wildflowers, horseback riding, crafting, cooking, music, and spending time with her family. She was so proud of her daughters, the families they had created and her husband who she adored since the day they met back in high school. She loved a clean house, serving others, and making them
smile.

While Carole endured in her later years and eventually succumbed to dementia, she lived her life to the fullest and did her best to make each new situation a positive one. She will be greatly missed and forever remembered as a sweet and loving soul with so
much love for her family.
