Clara Ann Smithson was a devoted and loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and cousin. Her faith in God and her desire to support others in recognizing God’s grace drove her participation in Christian ministry at Tower Grove Baptist Church, where she led classes each Sunday, helping her peers and the community know and appreciate the presence of God in their lives.

Clara is preceded in death by her mother Lottie Smithson, one sister Dottie Smithson, and a brother David Smithson.
Clara Ann Smithson also leaves behind nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and community members whom she loved and who will miss her voice, her guidance, and her love.
