David J. Agnew, November 18th, 1962–February 17th 2023, Hillsboro, Missouri (formerly of St. Louis).
David passed on February 17th, 2023 in the presence of his family after a year long battle with cancer. He is preceded in death by his parents, David L. Agnew Jr. and Elaine Agnew (Chiovelli). He is survived by his 5 children, Davin (Allison) Agnew, Sami (Gerad) Sherman, Noah (Lacy) Agnew, Rocky Agnew, and Zachary Agnew. David is also survived by his 2 sisters, Debbi Goffinet and Cheryl Barresi, his 5 grandchildren, Riley Agnew, Bentley Agnew, Lorelei Agnew, Everley Agnew, Tyler Weis, niece’s & nephews, Sara and Emily Goffinet, Derrick Young, Michael Young, and Tiffanie Pingel, great nieces & nephews, and cousins.
David was a patriot and a Veteran of the United States Air Force and the United States Navy. He served in Iraq in 2006-2007. He was a registered nurse for nearly 20 years and had enjoyed working throughout St. Louis. He was a proud father to his 5 children and took pride and admired their accomplishments. He was a proud Christian and relied on his faith to navigate through life. He enjoyed studying scripture, visiting with his family and friends. In the past few years he enjoyed watching his grandkids play sports.
A commemoration of David’s life will take place at Christ Memorial Church on March 16th, 2023 with a visitation starting at 10:30, church service starting at 11:30, following a family graveside service at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
