Jane,
Prayers for you and your family.

Gene was a valued member of the St. Louis U. High Class of 1973. As a Freshman and Sophomore, Gene played Football and Basketball, but his acting and singing performances are what I remember most about his years at SLUH. Whether playing the lead in many of our theater productions or sharing his voice at our on campus Coffee Houses, Gene was an amazing entertainer. Genuinely one of the best guys in a class filled with good guys!
I met Gene while we were students in law school and remember him as a very kind and smart man. I’m very sorry to learn of his passing so late as I would have liked to have attended the memorial. My sincere condolences to his family.
I just learned of Gene’s passing. I am so sorry to hear of it. I have only the fondest memories of Gene. He and I were “opponents” on numerous cases. He was always a gentleman and a professional who worked zealously for his clients while exhibiting the highest standards. His love of, and dedication to, family was foremost in his life. May he rest in peace.
In Sympathy,
Kit Morrissey
