Gertrude Ann Loyd (nee Ratzy) passed away April 7, 2024. Born February 20, 1961 to the late Ray Fogarty and the late Elizabeth “Betty” Fogarty.
Devoted companion of Larry E. Simpkins. Beloved mother of Travis McGlasson, Kristine McGlasson, and Jenna McGlasson. Loving grandmother of Tyler McGlasson, Bree O’Guinn, Auston Guetschew, Gabby Stover, Shawnie McGlasson, Teejay McGlasson, Kaleb McGlasson, and Myia McGlasson. Dear great grandmother of Amara McGlasson. Loving sister of Bill Taylor and Raecel Gibson.
VISITATION: Sunday, April 14, 2024 at Michel Funeral Home 5930 Southwest Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63139 from 4-8 p.m.

I met Trudy in high school days at Shortys Tavern. I actually met Cowboy first. Then there was the Wild Mutts. The girls had tank tops that said, **ty bitty *Itty commitee 😇. Then I met Betty and Ray and Raecel. We stayed friends for a long time. I remember the birthday party’s for Travis at the Wentzville lake. Jeremy never knew how far it was to there, coz he fell asleep on the way. Be at peace my friend.🙏 Rest well 💜 Love always
