Mancuso, Joseph V, age 79, passed surrounded by his family on October 20, 2023. Joseph was born on July 26, 1944. Beloved husband of Patricia (nee Fontana), father of Joseph M (Carla), Vincent A (Jennifer), and Salvatore G. decd, from his first wife Judy (Sanfilippo) Pritt and Step-Father to Cheryl Foy. Son of Augustine “Gussie” (Inserra) Mancuso decd. Brother of Josephine “Skipper” Mancuso decd, Rose “Chubby” (John) Butler, Tina “Tiny” (Anthony D, decd) Ribaudo. Grandfather of Alexandria, Adrianna, Giovanna, Chela, Gabriella, Salvatore J, Joseph A, Larry “LJ” Foy, and Vincent “VJ” decd. Great grandfather to Liliana and Evelyn. Dear uncle, godfather, cousin, and friend to many.
Joe spent more than half of his life as a member of Law Enforcement for both the St. Louis City Police and Sheriff Departments.
Visitation on Thursday, October 26, from 4–10 p.m. at Michel Funeral Home. Visitation on Friday, October 27, at 9 a.m. and Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Ambrose Church, 5110 Wilson Avenue, followed by burial services at noon at Bellerive Gardens Cemetery, 740 N. Mason Rd.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to BackStoppers of St. Louis.
