Marcia “Marci” Alexis Sklar

Marci Sklar passed away unexpectedly from medical complications on Saturday, July 6th, with her husband of 35 years by her side. She was 61 years old.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, to Irwin and Mildred Harlan, Marci lived the majority of her life with her Husband (Stephan Sklar) and sons (Jason Sklar, and Andrew Sklar) in Florida, after spending a few years in Virginia Beach. Marci was able to have an impact on everyone she met, Marci didn’t know any strangers as she would quickly try to strike up conversations as she truly was a social butterfly. During Marci’s free time she enjoyed activities such as Bingo, tra veling, catching up on all the latest TV shows, and being a food connoisseur knowing all the best restaurants across town. Later in life Marci did move away from Florida, with her husband to Ohio and later Missouri. Survived by her spouse, Stephan (Steve) Sons: Jason and Andrew, Brother-in-Law Richard, Arthur and Sister-in-law Sherri and Barbra, and countless nieces and nephews. Marci is remembered by family and friends alike for her generous spirit and compassionate heart. Marci was proceeded in death by her: Father Irwin, Mother Mildred, Brother William, and Sister Francine. A celebration of her life will be held in Jacksonville FL on 8/3/2019
