Sean Michael Verbeck September 13, 1990 – December 14, 2021
Sean left this world for his heavenly home on Tuesday, December 14th at the young age of 31 after a long and tiring battle with addiction. He was the precious son of Melvyn and Donna Verbeck. Sean was also the loving brother of Kathryn Verbeck and Melvyn II(Stephanie). He was the adored Grandson of Linda and the late Gene Ward and the late Melvyn E. and Mary Verbeck; nephew of Tish(Gary)Wendt, Paula Stein, Mary(Jeffrey)Becher. Sean was an uncle and cousin to many, especially Molly Burgert, his best friend in the world who never gave up on him.
Sean attended Saint Martin of Tours grade school and graduated from Bishop Dubourg High School, Class of 2009. He also attended Ranken Technical College. Sean owned and operated Taxis with the Springfield Yellow Cab Company in Springfield, Mo. Sean was very athletic in school playing soccer, baseball, basketball and roller hockey and bowling on a summer youth league. Sean was an avid fisherman and especially loved having weekend campouts at his Aunt Mary and Uncle Jeff’s property fishing on their pond. He loved playing cards, dice games and throwing washers at family functions. He made friends wherever he went and his smile could light up a room. Most of all Sean loved his family.

My heartfelt condolences for the family. Only met Sean once, but his smile was so genuine you just had to love him. He loved his family so much, and his grandma Linda
was so proud to introduce him to her friends. Sean will be truly missed. May Sean rest in peace.
So sorry for your family’s loss.
I shared years of recovery with Sean. I choose remember those times. He had a kind heart, was remorseful, and really wanted to make his family proud. I’m so sorry for your loss.
God Speed my friend. Thank you for the time we spent together. Your were way to young to leave us. I wish you wouldn’t have left us so soon. I Love man.
