Steven John Bertke, Sr. passed away suddenly June 29, 2023. Born September 19, 1955 to the late Sylvester Bertke and Henreitta (nee Fischer) Bertke.
Beloved husband of Deborah (nee Fordyce) Bertke. Loving father of Steven Bertke II (Melissa) and Shannon Bertke (Eryn Epley). Dear grandfather of Kaleb Gann, Kyle Gann and Kaleigh Bertke. Brother of Joan (the late Leonard) Meirhoffer and Allen Bertke.
Steven is preceded in death by his brothers William Bertke and Robert Bertke.
VISITATION: Thursday, July 13, 2023 at Michel Funeral Home 5930 Southwest Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63139 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with funeral services beginning at 1:00 p.m.
Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
